Life Reflections
Willie P. Myers Jr. better known as "Peyton" transitioned to eternal life on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 11:01 am. Willie was born on November 7, 1939 in Pamplico, South Carolina to the late Casimma Gibbs and Willie Myers Sr. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Maperline Williams, Barbara Thomas and Debra Robinson.
Mr. Willie Myers received his education in South Carolina. He moved to Manhattan, New York where he met his beautiful wife, Ann Myers.
Mr. Myers held multiple jobs until he retired from Amtrak after 28 years. He later moved to Lake City, South Carolina where he lit up the town with his DJ abilities. He provided entertainment for various events as The Love Man. He owned and operated various businesses such as: Payton Place I and II, The Silver Slipper, Royanne, Jockey Club and others. Giving his life to the Lord, Willie was ordained as a Deacon, providing knowledge and the Word of God as a radio personality a.k.a Deacon Myers for several years WYNN106.3.
Deacon Myers attended St. Mark Holiness
Church but was a member of Church of God, House of the Living God, Good News Deliverance Temple.
Left to cherish his memories is his wife of 64 years, Ann Elizabeth Myers, his children, Minister Bryan Myers, Dr. Myra Ball, Sheila, Hillie Weaver, Lisa Adams, Rowlinda Fulmore, Chris Myers,Darren Myers, Thaddeus Myers, Angela Myers and David Myers. 36 grands & great grands and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
