Obituary

Oueen Ester McKnight was born July 12, 1933 in Florence County, SC to the late Lula Mae Graham and late Joe Graham Sr. Queen enter into eternal rest on August 31, 2023 at MUSC Hospital.

Oueen attended school in Lake City, SC. Queen grew up farming in her younger days. When she got older she spent most of her time working at Wyman Eddie Laundromat and Movies in Lake City, SC.

Oueen lived a very active life. During her active days she could be seen riding bikes, walking, or working in her gardens. She loved to be outside. She was a joy to everyone who knew her. Queen was that one person that could chat with anyone and leave an everlasting mark on them. Known for being strong even in her older days. Queen had a stroke in 2021 that changed her whole world, but that didn't stop her from smiling and enjoying the little moments. Even in those years after the stroke she would have conversations and let her love ones know that she loved them.

Queen was preceded in death by her mother Lula Mae Graham, her father Joe Graham Sr. her husband Robert Alfonso

"Cleo" McKnight. Her brothers Charles "C" Graham, and Joe Graham Jr. One son in law Jessie Anderson and her granddaughter Priscilla McKnight. Five brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

Queen leaves to cherish her extraordinary memories: two daughters, Covetta Anderson and Lisa McKnight of Lake City, SC, two sons Alfonso McKnight of Columbia, SC and Vincent McKnight of Philadelphia; one brother James (Helen) Graham, one sister-in-law Irene Graham; one daughter-in-law Melissa McKnight, three granddaughters Tracy (Frank Nelson), Andrea Graham, Antonia (Anthony Sessions) McKnight four grandsons Al John McKnight, Randy (Shauntae) Jordan, Reggie (Shanekia) Jordan, Darrell Laquanda) McKnight, twenty-two great-grandchildren; ourteen great-great-grands; one close cousin Mary Alice Solomon; a host of Nieces and Nephews.
