Obituary

2nd Timothy  7-8 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

On Tuesday morning, September 12, 2023 at his home, our loved one Gregory . Bartell heard the voice of our Savior saying “ I have a house of many mansions and one belong to you because your earthly has dissolved. In the quietness of the moment he moved to a house not made by man.

Greg was born September 17, 1965 to the late Mr. Maxie Lee and Anna  Mack Davis Bartell. Proceeded in death also a sister Gwendolyn Woodberry. Greg attended Lake City High School. He was faithful worker for Insulations by Cohen’s  formally known as Eaddy’s Insulation, he was employed 20 plus years before his health declined. Greg joined Mt Moriah Baptist Church stating Christ to be his personal savior. Greg loved his pastor and church members.

He leaves his family who remain to grow from loved his brother Dexter G( Jackie ) Davis, Lake City SC . Sister Catherin Belin of Lake City SC . Six loving nieces Tasha Bacote ,  Lakisha Baron , Marcia Miller of Lake City SC Katwyla Davis Florence SC Autumn Davis and Aubree Davis Coward SC ,  Great Nephews Antwone Brown of Scranton SC Desmond McGill ,Notorious Darby and Xylan Morris of Lake city Sc  Two great nieces Kimaya Washington and Jordyn Lewis Florence SC , one great great niece Amaya McGill. Great Aunt Mattie Woodberry Johnsonville SC.  , Maternal Aunt Shelby Jean Washington, Alberta Howard of Lake City SC . Paternal Aunts Annette Smoot, Eula Bartell, Earldine Bartell, Gwen Bartell of Florence SC. Paternals Uncle Richard Anthony Bartell of El Paso Texas, Randolph Bartell Stanley Ray  Bartell Rufus  Bartell of Florence SC , Sidney (Patricia) Bartell of Gaston, SC.
