Brother Early Singletary Jr.

On Tuesday afternoon, July 4, 2023 at MUSC Providence Hospital, Columbia, SC, the spirit of Brother Early Singletary Jr. slipped away with the Angels into a peaceful and everlasting sleep. Brother Early Singletary Jr. was the son of Overseer Early Singletary Sr. and the Late Alean McGill Singletary. He was born July 22, 1951 in Williamsburg County. He was educated in the public schools of Florence County. He was a professional landscaper and had a passion for gardening. Brother Early Singletary Jr. was steadfast in his Faith in the Lord and believe in Jesus Christ. He was a member of Saint Michael Holiness Church. He was one of the lead singer for singing on the church choir. Brother Early Singletary Jr. was married to the late Diane McKenzie Singletary. This union was blessed with two children: Karen (Pastor Stacey) Morris and Kevin (Stacy) Singletary. Those who remain to grow and cherish him are his Father: Reverend Early Singletary Sr., his brothers: Mr. Daniel (Cheryl) Singletary, Mr. Rudolph Singletary all of Lake City, SC and Mr. Russell Singletary of North Carolina; his sisters: Mrs. Geraldine (Freddie W.) Poole Jr., of Columbia, SC, Mrs. Brenda (George W.) Brown Jr., Mrs. Barbara S. Monroe, Ms. Dianne Cureton all of Lake City, SC and Ms. Linda Singletary of Passaic, New Jersey; uncles: Rev. Mack R. Singletary, Mr. Jacob (Mary Jane) Singletary all of Lake City, SC, Mr. Isaiah Singletary of Florence, SC, and Mr. Clinton Lewis of Seat Pleasant, Maryland; aunts: Evangelist Dorothy Smith and Mrs. Merlene Singletary all of Greenville, SC, Mrs. Betty Jean Dais of Passaic, New Jersey, Mrs. Geneva Turner of Richmond, Virginia, Ms. Phoebe Rogers of Buffalo, New York and Ms. Janice Thurman of Maryland; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
