There are things in life we cannot understand, but we must trust in God's judgment, and Bee got it by his hand. All who have God's blessings can rest safely in his care, for he promises safe passage on the wings of faith and prayer
Amy McFadden, the daughter of the late George K Mcfadden and late Sarah Mcfadden wa born on October 27, 1935. Ms. Amy graduated from Thomlinson High School in 1959. She was gifted with hands that could sew and decorate anything. She could cook a meal so quickly that would make you ask for more. She moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina and started workin at Piedmont airlines in 1969. She received numerous awards. After many years of working there the company merged with USA Air, and she stayed there until she retired. She was a member of St. John Church. She worked faithfully in the church and served on many auxiliaries.
In 2000 after retiring, she relocated back to Lake City, South Carolina, where she spent time with her parents, children, and grandchildren. She returned to Lake Pointe United Methodist Church an began working for the Lord.
On Sunday night, September 17, 2023, at MUSC in Charleston and angel whispered in Ms. Amy' ears and she called out of her deceased daughter Rosalind and her mother's name, and as she was having a conversation with them, she said Lord let me live to see Monday morning and stop by and take me. God answered he request and stopped by Monday night, September 18,2023, and she jumped on that glory train where there will be no more pain, no more trips to the doctors, and no more cancer.
Ms. Amy was preceded in death by her parents, George and Sarah McFadden, her daughter Rosalind Graham one brother: Ulysses McFadden, and one grandson Dontay.
Ms. Amy leaves to cherish her legacy of memories; three daughters, Karen (Ronald) Cooper and Donna and Dianna Mcfadden. Two sons, Mike (Veronica) Mcfadden, Ulysses (Carolyn Burgess, son-in-law, and daughter-in-law, Bobby (Katrina)Graham. Eight grandchildren Ronal Rontay Cooper, Shantay Cooper, Jarvis Cooper, Loréal (Gino) LaGrant, Alkeem (Shawntae Graham, Tayron Singletary, SPC McFadden Dallas, Di'Onna McFadden and 10 great grands Malacyia Cooper, Trevon Wright, Kaylen Cooper, Givon Gakhy, Georday, Ginai LaGrant Tay'onnah Singletary, Maleahya Robinson, and Akira Graham. Special nieces, Billie Ann, (Frank Anderson, Rose (John)Turner, and Sheila McMillan. God-sister Catherine B. Mcclam, Special friends' sisters, Mattie Mcfadden, and Margaret Lawson and The Lake Point United Methodist Church family. Adopted family, Dr. Morris (Bonnilyn) Brown III and their children. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
