Mrs. Donna Denise Williams

April 18, 1972 - December 8, 2021

       Donna Denise Godwin was born April 18, 1972 to Fontell Godwin and the late Shirley Gamble.

“Munchie” as she was affectionately known was reared by her maternal grandparents, Geneva and the late Robert Godwin. Donna attended and graduated from Lake City High School in 1990.

      She later attended Virginia College and received an Associate’s Degree in Medical Coding. She was employed with ADP until her health failed. Donna joined St. Luke United Methodist Church at an early

age and later joined Grace Deliverance church where she served faithfully until her health failed. She was a member of the Usher Board, Director of Youth Choir, member of Adult Choir and a member of the Women of Grace.

       She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Kelly Williams, four daughters Gerika Williams, Brianna (Raye) Davis, Kellie Williams, and Kyrstyn Williams, two sons Justyn Williams and Kellvon Williams; four grandchildren; Audrionna Wright, Gabriel Davis, Charles Wright Jr., and Christian Davis; father, Fontell (Loretta) Godwin, four siblings Shelia Godwin, Jennifer Godwin, Brian Godwin, and Douglas Godwin; step-siblings; Takenya Mickens, Destiny Wingate and Christopher Peterson; seven sisters and brothers-in-law, Darlene Rush, Alex (Mary) Williams, Sarah (Hugh) Samuels, Ella(Robbie) Gowdy, Frankie Williams, Hilton Williams and Calvin Williams. Maternal aunts and uncles; Vicky, Joyce (Mack), Gloria (David), Brenda (Gerome), Pearlie (the late Tony), Peggy, Claudia, Marthene, and Hoover (Alberta); a host of great aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Evelyn and James Gamble and her paternal aunt, the late Norma Jean Fulmore, who helped to rear her.
