Silver Lee Britton 79 of Florence, South Carolina passed away in McCleod Regional Medical Center on November 12, 2021. Silver Lee Britton was born in Lake City, South Carolina on November 23, 1941 to Beller Singletary-Frierson and Oliver Burgess. She attended Colleton County public school district in Walterboro, South Carolina. Silver Lee was a domesticated house wife for many years and care taker of her Grand Children and Great Grand Children. She enjoyed volunteering at her local church, where she was a dedicated Mother of The Church and member for over 65 years. She was also a part of the Pastor’s Aid Committee, Senior Choir and Sick Committee. Her hobbies were shopping, traveling, baking sweet potato pies, and attending the Lake City Senior Citizens Center before her health declined. Silver Lee is survived by Dorothy Bostic-Jacoby (John), Frank Burgess (Lillie Mae), Cynthia Zanders, Mary Mckenzie (James), Catherine Singletary (Clayce), Margaret Graham (Edward), the late Teresa Burgess (Kenneth Sr.), Brenda Washington, 25 Grand Children,45 Great- Great Grand Children, 3 Great-Great Grand Children, Siblings: Gracy Cooper (Henry), Gilbert Singletary (Brenda), Shirley Felder, Thomas Black(Tiffany), In Laws: Ryna Cowart (Arthur) Magalean Britton, Billy Britton, Otto Neals (Vera), Special Niece: Jeanette (Charles) and Linda Tremmell and a host of other special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Silver Lee was predeceased by Husband Franklin Britton, Mother Beller Singletary-Frierson, Father Oliver Burgess, Sister Wilhelmina Williams, Brothers: Zeberdee Burgess, Henry Burgess, Ernest Singletary, Johnny Black.
