Sarah Elizabeth McClam Graham

Sarah Elizabeth McClam Graham, affectionally known as “Lizzie” was born April 20, 1937 to the late Eugene and Ina McClam. Sarah departed this life in the comfort of her precious family on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at 5:08 AM.

Sarah joined St. Luke Methodist Church and was converted at an early age. She served faithfully. Later, she moved her membership to Mt. Clair Baptist Church along with her parents. As a faithful member Sarah obtained her formal education in the public schools of Lake City, SC.

Sarah was employed with Avondale Manufactory, Lake City Manufactory, T.S Ragsdale, and Coleman Manufactory. Sarah was a caregiver to everyone she could help.

On April 7, 1962, Sarah was joined in holy matrimony to the late Alford Joe Graham for fifty-two years. Sarah was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Sarah will sadly be missed by her loving four daughters: Elizabeth Renee (Dale) Fleming of Lake City, SC, Sophia (James) Pressley of Timmonsville, SC, Shannon Goodman of the home and Sherouda Graham of Charlotte, N; seven grandchildren: Shyra Graham, Tayai Pressley, Omari Pressley, Jasmine Pressley, Gia Pressley, Kaylen Goodman; two special niece and nephew that she reared as her grandchildren: Kenny McClam and Tiffany McClam both of Lake City. SC; two sisters: Levorn McClam, Tran McAllister both of Lake City, SC; one brother: Bethea McClam of Lake City, SC; three sisters-in-law: Louise McClam and Roneathea McClam both of Lake City, SC, Betsy Bell of Florida; one brother-in-law: Waitus Cameron of Richmond, VA.

Preceding her in death is one sister: Shirley McClam and two brothers: Durant McClam and Robert McClam.

Sarah will be sincerely missed by many, in practically two devoted cousins: Herbert Pope of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Percelia Hurd of Lake City, SC, and host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
