Roosevelt Bryant Jr.

On Saturday July 9, 2022, the beloved Roosevelt Sumner Bryant Jr. departed this earth at MUSC in Florence, SC.

Roosevelt Bryant was born on July 14, 1935 in the County of Florence, South Carolina. He was born to the late Roosevelt Senior and Pauline Bryant.

Roosevelt Bryant was a loving husband to Lora Bell Bryant with sixty-five years of marriage. Together during their union they created three sons and four daughters. Their children are Michael Bryant, Lawrence Bryant (deceased), John Bryant (deceased), Berlene Cusaac, Loretta Bryant (deceased), Patricia Cockfield, and Verlinda Bryant.

Roosevelt Bryant was a loving man to all and came to Christ as a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church under the leadership of Reverend Jerry Gadsden during his appointed time at Wesley Chapel. Roosevelt was a United States Veteran and served his country until his disability led to a resolution in an honorable discharge.

Well known with many family, friends, and associates, besides his wife, children, grandchildren, he leaves behind with fond memories his brothers and one surviving sister. Respectively they are Franklin Bryant, Edward Bryant, Tommy Bryant, Nathaniel Bryant and Mary Graham. Finally, brothers and sisters that preceded him in death are Josephus Bryant, Leona Wilson, James Bryant, Shirley Ruth Bryant, and Jimmie Bryant. His seeds that will blossom from the family tree are thirteen grandchildren, twelve great grand children, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins that will truly miss Roosevelt Bryant.
