Mrs. Odessa Green, the beloved daughter of the late Prince Albert Bell and Annie Bell. She was born September 14, 1929, in Williamsburg County. She departed this life at the age of 90 on Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at the home of her daughter, residents of Janet Graham of Lake City, SC. After an illness, Mrs. Green was baptized with the holy spirit, joined New Birth Ministry Outreach in 2017. She was the mother of the church when she served faithfully.
She was joined in holy matrimony to the late, Mr. Julian Green on September 9, 1955. They were blessed with seven children. Two preceded her in death, Mona Lisa Glascho and Allen Bell. We have been privileged to call our loved one a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother, a great-great-grandmother, a sister, and a friend.
Those who remain to keep her memories alive are two daughters, Ms. Janet Graham of the home, Mrs. Michell Ford of Florence, SC; three sons, Charles Green of Scranton, SC, James Bell of Lake City, SC, Lavern Green of Scranton, SC; three sons-in-law, Bishop Neil Ford, Jerome Graham (deceased), and Lavan Glascho; one daughter-in-law, Lovinia Bell of Scranton, SC; brother-in-law, Bishop Frank Green (Odell) of Hollywood, FL; one sister-in-law, Claretha Green of Brooklyn, NY. She has a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great greatgrandchildren, a host of nephews, and nieces and a special son that she raised as her own, Keith Bell, and a special caregiver, Denise McCrea.
