MRS. SARAH L. GREEN MCFADDEN best known as “SNOOK”. Daughter of the late Marcus Richard Green and Rosa L. Green was born in Clarendon County, SC on August 13, 1949. SARAH was educated in the public school of Florence County. SARAH was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Nathaniel McFadden Sr. To this union of 48 Years four children were born, the Late Nathaniel Jr., Sandra, Keisha and Tederick.
SARAH spent most of her life’s work as an experience Seamstress and Lead Cook for Brown’s Bar-B-Que following Schoolhouse Bar-B-Que. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family, friends, traveling, and attending gospel concerts. One of her favorite songs was “I STILL HAVE JOY’.Our HEAVENLY FATHER came for our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Family Member and Friend on June 7, 2021 after an illness. SARAH was a lifelong member of Lake Point United Methodist Church. SARAH was a woman of hope and what God could do. SARAH was well known for her beautiful smile.
SARAH always connected with those she loved and cared about dearly.SARAH preceded in death by both parents Marcus & Rosa Green, her son Nathaniel Jr., her brother Harry L. Green.SARAH will remain cherished by her family: Her loving Daughters: Sandra Sargeant and Keisha McFadden, One Son: Tederick McFadden, Ten Grandchildren, Four Sisters: Evelyn (Alphonso) White, Shirley Green, Mazie (Glennis) Conyers, Sherion (Michael) Toney. Two Brothers: Charles (Jackie) Green, Richard Green. Sister-in-Laws: Patsy Pearson, Barbara Adam, Helen McFadden, Linda Singletary. Brothers-in-Laws: Muriel (Lois) McFadden, Johnny (Lisa) McFadden, Earl (Janie) McFadden, Jimmy (Deloris) McFadden, Roosevelt McFadden. Special Cousin: Nancey Lemon, Manning, SC. Special Nieces: Tamera, Latoya, Alana, Monquie, Myesha, Tasha, Nicole. Special Nephews: Al, Michael, Terrence, Larry, Harry, Bryant, Murry. And a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Friends and other Relatives.
