Pearlese H. Barron was born on September 15,
1941, in Williamsburg County. She was preceded in
death by her parents: Frank “Buckie” and Alice Hannah;
her husband: Joe “Lewayne” Barron; three sons: Joe
Franklin Barron, Leroy Barron, and Ben Barron; her
sisters: Rosa Cameron, Mamie Turner and Dorothy
Burgess.
Dusty departed this life on July 2, 2021. She attended
public school in Williamsburg County. She was joined in
marriage on September 10, 1960, to her late husband Joe
“Lewayne” Barron. She was last employed as a domestic
worker until her retirement. She was a member of St.
John Baptist Church in Roper Community, and excepted
the Lord into her life as her savior. She lived a quiet life
and loved to talk about the Lord. Dusty was a strong
loving, compassionate, gracious, full of life, caring, and
loving woman. She was always true to herself and others.
She leaves to cherish and celebrate her life, her
daughters: Nancy (Edward) Hughes of the home in
Pamplico, Pearlese (Alvin) Carson, Tonika (Kahlia)
Barron of Lake City; one son: Tommey Barron of Olanta;
children that she loves as her own: Carolyn Allen, Larry
Spates, Vina Cooper and Vela Mills. Her grandchildren:
Sgt. Ramona Barron, Maurice Barron, Kimberly James,
Victoria Barr, Yashane Alston, Shamere Barron, Rashad
Barr, Raven Burgess, Amber Barron, YaZhane Carson,
Gadge Carson, JaQuan Thomas, Tommey Barron Jr. and
Mason Barron. Great-Grands: Erika, Xavier, Collins,
Stephanie, Aniyah, Kameron, Jaecen Jr., MiStome,
Logan, Ben Jr., Denari. Three sister-in-laws: Winnine
Mae Harrison and Willia Dean King of Flordia and
Ressive (Laura) Lewis of Virginia; and a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins, and friends.
