Mrs. Lola Mae Jackson

Sunset: August 3, 2020

​Lola Mae Timmons Jackson, daughter of the late Clydia Timmons, was born August 16, 1933, in Florence County, South Carolina. She departed this life on early Monday, August 3, 2020, at her home.

She attended the public schools of Florence County. At an early age, she accepted the Lord as her personal savior and became a member of the Aimwell Baptist Church. There she served on the Senior Usher Board, Kitchen Committee, and Gospel Choir.

Lola was united in holy matrimony to Henry Jackson. To this union, two children were born. She was preceded by death by her husband, Henry Jackson, son, Timmy Jackson, daughter, Shirley J. Bartell, and a grandson, Scott LaRandy Jackson. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Delza Lee, and two brothers, Junior Dick and Charles Timmons.

To cherish her loving memories are a special granddaughter whom she raised as her own, Sherry (La-Tun) Hanna, St. Augustine FL; five grandchildren, Sharanda Bartell, of the home, Shamad Bartell, Pamplico, SC, Anita Jackson, Dwayne Jackson, both of St. Augustine, FL, and Quinton Mouzon, Lake City, SC; 13 great-grandchildren; ShaKera, Antonyo, Jason, Jayla, Jalaya, Nai’sha, Timothy Jr., Kiara, Jayce, Diamond, Kamyrn, Jayden, and Khari, 3 great-great-grandchildren; Madison, Kennedy, and Josiah; one brother, Henry Joe (Myrtle Bell) Timmons of Scranton, SC, one sister-in-law Pearlease Timmons of Scranton, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
