Mrs. Lerlene Hannah

Lerlene Hannah, daughter of the late Samuel Powell and Lizzie Brown Powell was born on October 3, 1930 in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. She departed this earthly journey on Wednesday Morning, November 2, 2022.

She received her formal education in the Williamsburg County Public Schools. She was a homemaker.

At an early age she accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined St. John Missionary Baptist Church and was a devoted member.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband: David (Cecil) Hannah; two brothers: Willie David and Willie Joe Powell; four sisters: Patsy Miller, Mattie J. McFadden, Earnestine Ramsey and Catheryn Powell Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories five children: Russeline Hannah, Willie Lee (Julia) Hannah, Nellie Hannah, Janette Hannah, and Martha Ann Hannah; two grand-daughters: Sharon (Dolan) Hannah McClam and Shanice Hannah; two great-grandsons: Devontae and Dakarai; one brothers-in-law: Roosevelt Hannah, Joe Ramsey and many nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
