Mrs. Judy Malave Rogers

Judy Malave Rogers was born in New York, City to the late Narciso Aurelio and Rafaela Machicote Malave on January 10, 1955. Judy Malave Rogers passed from this life on Sunday, April 25, 2021 after her illness. Judy will be missed by so many that loved and cared for her.

Judy was educated in the New York City public school system and after graduation she joined the US Army where she served for 3 years. Later she attended George Mason University. Judy worked for the US Department as a Dispatcher and she worked as a tax preparer for Jackson Hewitt until her health declined.

Judy accepted Christ at an early age. She loved being with her children and grandchildren.
Some of her hobbies were playing bingo, cooking, working on cars, building things, working with her hands and she especially loved being with her family.

Judy Malave Rogers is preceded in death by her parents Rafaela and Aurelio Malave, son William Angel Burt and sister Arlene Malave.

In 2002 Judy married Calvester Rogers there were no children born into this union. Judy leaves to cherish her memories, her loving and devoted husband, Calvester Rogers of the home. One daughter Crystal Malave-McDuffy (Cedrick) of Haymarket, VA, son Lee Burt III Alexandria, VA, stepson Shawn Brown (Clevert) Hemingway, SC six grandchildren Migdalia Malave McDuffy, Madeline McDuffy, Maysona McDuffy, Maylee Burt, Aleeya Burt and Shavelle Brown. Her father-in-law Jimmy Rogers, Five sisters Edna Fuentez of New York, Nilda Malave (Rob), Shirley Malave (Raymond) and Myrna all of Alexandria, VA and Madeline Malave of Woodbridge, VA, 2 brothers-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
