Mrs. Janie A. Pearson

Janie Anderson Pearson was born to the late Frank Anderson and Ethel Knight Anderson on June 3, 1937 in Cades, SC. On July 28, 2021 at 3:36 AM at Lake City Community Hospital, heaven’s door opened so she could go home.

At an early age she attended Christ as her Lord and Savior and became a member of Greater St. Mark AME Church in Hemingway, SC, and she joined Freedom Worship Center in Williamsburg County of Cades, SC.
She received her education in the Williamsburg County Public School System. Janie was employed with ISS Cleaning Service for many years and she was also employed in the Home Health Care Field and she was also employed at Sea Crest Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC for many years.

Janie was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Roosevelt Pearson.

Janie leaves to cherish her memories four sons: Mr. Harry Russell (Kate) Anderson of Lake City, SC, Mr. Sinatra (Geneva) Anderson of Fayetteville, NC, Mr. Toney (Wanda) Anderson of Lake City, SC, Mr. Eric Anderson of Camden, SC; a granddaughter that she raised as her own: Jacinta Anderson of the home and an adopted son: Mr. Ary Bazin of Brooklyn, NY; three brothers: Mr. Jessie (Corvetta) Anderson of the White Oak Community, Mr. Albert (Barbara) Anderson of Lake City, SC, Mr. Frank (Billie Ann) Anderson of Louisville, KY; two sisters: Mrs. Lorine (Adam) Bostick of Essence, MD and Mrs. Patricia (Robert) Cooper of Florence, SC; one sister-in-law: Mrs. Doris Anderson of Lake City, SC; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, a loving and devoted niece: Ms. Taleica McFadden of Florence, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
