Mrs. Della Rose

Mrs. Della L. Rose was born in Florence County to the late Mrs. Pattie Ann Gordon-Julius and Zannie Gordon, Sr. She attended Carver High School and was a member of Greater St. James AME Church in Lake City, South Carolina. Della accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord & Savior. Her career in life was an experienced seamstress and seamstress to the community.
She was a loving, humble, and kind person to her friends, church family and community. Della’s smile let you know that you were welcome in her heart and family. She once stated that “she didn’t have friends, she had family.”

Della was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles “Bim” Rose; mother Pattie Ann Julius; father Zannie Gordon, Jr; brothers Zannie Gordon, Jr. and Edward Gordon; grandson, Johnny O. Wilson.
Della was joined in Holy matrimony to Charles “Bim” Rose, Sr. unto this union they had 5 (five) children; LaBonie; Charlotte, Harriet, Charles Jr. (Lori); Robert and Doris, her loving stepdaughter who preceded her in death. She also, has 4 (four) additional children that she called her own, Terry and Gwen Fleming; Chevette Walker and Gayle Garland. Her grandchildren that she adored, was proud of and loved; James Wilson; Darren (Flury); Sammy (Rolanda); Loretta (Joseph) Oliphant; Landa (Rodino) Tew. Michael (Melissa) Morell; Stepfon Rose; Chandler “Rob” Rose; Peyton Griffin; MacKenize Griffin; Travis Fleming; Terri, Ryan and Nickolas; Derrick; Danette; and Michael Jr. Brothers Abraham (Carolyn) Gordon; Daniel Gordon; sister-in-laws, Laura J. Gordon; Pearlie M. Gordon.
