Mr. Tony Roger Montgomery was born on June 23, 1965, in Florence County. He departed this early life on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 ay his residence. Tony received his formal education at Lake City High School of Lake City, South Carolina where he also graduated from in1985. He was employed with The Myrtle Beach International Airport of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. During his early life, he was known as the “GENIUS” of his family. Very early in his life, he accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and savior. Tony was a master in the art. He loved drawing, writing, and reading. Tony was a professional in martial arts, a specialist in many skills, a people person, and he loved everyone he met. Tony loved his mother, sister, brothers, and his other family members with a passion. He was surrounded by his loving mother, family, and friends. He was a God-fearing man who made everyone whom he came in contact with, laugh. One of his favorite words was “Oh My God, I’m so happy to see my family”.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Mr. Archie Lee Roy McGill; two aunts, Lizzie Joan Montgomery and Unice Barr, and six uncles.
Tony leaves to cherish his loving memories his darling beloved mother, Mrs. Alar Montgomery Kennedy (Russel Graham); one sister, Priscilla Montgomery; six brothers, Gregory (Perceluis Johnson) Kennedy, Levern (Lillie Ann) Kennedy, Fredrick (Shirley) Kennedy, Anthony (Belinda) Kennedy, Michael Montgomery, and Eric (Janie Mae) Guest, all of Lake City, South Carolina; nine aunts, Annie Pearl McGill, Inel Montgomery, Mary McGill, Bessie McCutcheon, and Betty Rose all of Lake City, South Carolina, Sinclair McCutcheon of Connecticut, Joan McGill of New Jersey, Annie Montgomery of New Jersey, and Sinclair Eaddy of New Jersey; one uncle, Rev. James McGill of New Jersey; two special cousins, Deacon Chester and Rev. Magalene Thompson; a host of nieces and nephews, family and other relatives and friends.
