Mr. Michael J. Cooper

Michael Cooper Jr. was born January 8th, 1966 to Shirley Ann Spates of Florence County. He was called to rest on March 8th, 2021 at McLeod Hospital after an illness.

He received his formal education in the public schools of Florence County.

Those left to cherish his memories are his parents: Shirley Ann Spates and Step-father Bobby Gene Spates; two daughters: Brittany Nicole Cooper and Tonda Nicole Cooper of North Carolina; two brothers: Bobby Lee Spates of North Carolina and Leroy Spates of North Carolina; five aunts: Ella Mae Johnson of Florence, SC, Ollie Mae (Roosevelt) Singletary of Florence, SC, Mildred Cooper of Lake City, SC, Betty Cooper McFadden of Lake City, SC, and Carolyn (John) Singletary of Lake City, SC; five uncles whom has preceded him in death and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
