Mr. Harrison "FC" McClam

On Wednesday, February 3, 2021, Harrison “FC” McClam departed his earthly life so peacefully at MUSC of Florence, SC. He was a member of St. John Methodist Church of Lake City, SC where he enjoyed attending with his friend, the late Jerry Simon.

Harrison McClam was born to the late Orie Knight and Ruth McClam Cooper. He was preceded in death by his wife: Ruth McClam, his brother: Nolan “Buck” Cooper Jr. and there sister-in-law: Mircam “Cena” Cooper, and a special uncle he loved dearly: Hoyt McClam.

Brother McClam grew up in Florence County where he attended public schools. He was a hard, dedicated, and faithful worker, enjoying landscape, roofing and farming. He also enjoyed being home watching wrestling and westerns. He would let it be known, “don’t call me while wrestling on!!” Our dad enjoyed food!! He would often say, “Baby seems like I can’t get full. The more I eat, the hungrier I get.”

Harrison leaves to cherish and mourn his memories with two children; one son: Harris "Poonch" (Laudz) Terrell McClam of Florida, one daughter: Felicia McClam of Scranton, SC; three grandsons whom he loves so much. His face would light up every time he talked or saw them: Collin Ashley of Scranton, SC, Gibron and Makia McClam of Florida, and a surrograte grandfather to two grand-daughters: Tineshia and Larissa Francois of Florida. Mr. McClam also leaves behind two brothers: James Cooper of Scranton, SC, and Elijah Knight of Aiken, SC two sisters : Virber Jackson of Lake City, SC, and Mary (Leon) Hannah of Lake City, SC; one special aunt: Hazel Lee Graham "Aunt Sister" of Florence, SC; two special cousins whom he loved dearly: Raymond McClam Jr. of Florida, and Frances McClam of Lake City SC; two special nephews: Sammie Cooper of Columbia, SC and Jamie Cooper of Lake City, SC; three special caregivers: Tiffany McFadden, Felicia Wilder. and Kaysandra Barr.
