Mr. Edward Frierson, was born in Florence County on March 3, 1945 to Deacon Ed Frison and Mrs. Lena Parker Frison, whom preceded him in death.
On Friday, March 26, 2021 God called him to rest from his labor at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center. "He fought a good fight".
At an early age, Edward accepted Christ as his personal Savior and joined Savanna Grove Freewill Baptist Church. He loved the Lord, and he put his trust in him.
Edward, received his formal education in the public schools of Florence County. He was a farmer of over twenty-years. He found his passion, which was painting. He was employed with the Late Randy Teal and later jointed his son Jamie Teal-Construction, Lake City, SC for over twenty years.
He was also employed with Brockington Funeral Home, Lake City, SC. Edward, later was self-employed and sub-contractor for many years. He painted many houses, churches and funeral homes ranging from South Carolina to North Carolina. You would often hear him say, "If you like it - I love it". He painted until his retirement. Hobbies included- Hunting, Football, Barbecuing (for the holidays) and Fishing. Out of those hobbies fishing was his favorite.
Edward, leaves to cherished his precious memory. His loving wife of fifty-four years, Lottie Felder Frison and four daughters: Sandra (Jaward) McClam of Florence, SC, Carolina Jackson of Florence, SC, Ethel Lee Robinson of Memphis, TN, and Terese Frison of Atlanta, GA; two brothers: Trustee - David Frison and Ernest (Deloris) Frison of Coward, SC; a sister Margaret Burgess of Lake City, SC.
Two brothers preceded in death, Deacon Joseph Frison and Eddie Frison, six sisters that also preceded him in death, Carrie L. Crawford, Viola State, Lena Bell Frison, Mary Etta Frison, Jessie Mae Harrison and Lena Mae Frison.
He also leaves to cherished his precious memory: six grandchildren: Terrell, Kanisha, Rashawn, Jawaun, Deona and Terbrea; three great-grandchildren: Trenton, Amaria and Trinity; sister-in-law: Allie Mae Frison of Coward, SC, Ethelean Frison of Effingham, SC, Linda (James) Wilson of Olanta, SC, Barbara Felder of Coward, SC, Lora A. Morris of Cades, SC, Willia (Sammie) Orange of Olanta, SC, Idella (Legrand) Eaddy of Olanta, SC Sussanna Felder of Coward, SC and Dale Felder of Lake City, SC.
Two brother-in-laws preceded him in death Raleigh Felder Jr. and Robert Felder.
He will be missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends and his buddy: Jimmy L. Bulter.
