Clinton Douglas McClam was born on May 30, 1967, in Florence, SC to J.W. McDowell whom preceded him in death and to Elder Lillie Daniels. Clinton Douglas McClam departed his earthly life on Monday, July 12, 2021, at his home.

Clinton Douglas McClam attended the public schools of Lake City of Florence County, SC. He was employed as a mechanic with Sereah Body Shop in Kingstree, SC for many years, and in Atlanta, GA. He was famous for his artwork, and drawing for people.

During his early years, Clinton was a member of Greater St. John BHC in Scranton, SC. He visit other churches, but he loved home. McFadden both of Olanta, SC and Amy (Moses) Cooper of Lake City, SC, ; brothers: Ronald McClam of Sumter, SC, J. W. McDowell of Olanta, SC; children: Quitin Thomas of Thailand, Adrianne and
Michael Singletary of Lake City, SC, Diamond Thomas of Lake City, SC, Clayton McFadden, and Noah Epps of Kingstree, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Deacon Derrick McClam whom was a special nephew, Chris Brown who was a great friend of the family of Kingstree, SC, along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.
