Mr. Charles "BUSTER" Hanna

Charles "Buster" Hanna was called home to be with his heavenly father. "Buster" as they called him slipped into eternal life on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at MUSC of Florence, SC after a short illness.



Charles affectionately known as "Buster" was born December 10, 1935 in Florence County, to the late Kyiah Hanna, Mattie Richardson and Sam McCants. He received his education in Williamsburg County and worked as a farmer most of his life. He accepted Christ into his life and was also a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church of Lake City, SC. "Buster" was married to Margaret Hanna and was devoted father which he shared 5 daughters and 4 sons with Italene Taylor: Annie (Minister Cornell) Battle of Phenix City, Alabama; Dorothy Taylor, Lucretia Graham, Chenalia (Don) Parker and Sallie Hanna all of Lake City, SC; 4 sons: Charles (Dezarea) Hanna of Myrtle Beach, SC; Micheal (Myra) Hanna of Florence, SC; Johnny (Marcia) Hanna of Lake City, SC; and Donald Hanna of Cades, SC; a daughter, Shelia Graham of Boston, Massachusetts; 6 step-children; 5 sisters: Rosanell (Walter) Singletary and Betty Hanna both of Lake City, SC; Irene Wilson and Alvilita McCants Morin both of Wilmington, Delaware and Sandra McCants of Tequesta, Florida; 4 brothers: Larry Hanna and Frank Hanna both of Lake City, SC; Jerome McCants and James McCants both of Wilmington, Delaware; 31 Grands; 45 Great Grands and a host of other relatives and friends.
