Mother Pearlie Mae Evans

Mother Pearlie Mae Singletary Evans, the daughter of the late Mr. Louis Singletary and the late Mrs. Jannie Mae Singletary was born on January 23, 1948 in lower Florence County. On Monday, January 18,2021, she went home to be with the Lord.

Mother Pearlie Mae was educated in the Florence County Public School System. She was a devoted wife, mother, and caregiver to her family and all she knew.

She was employed at Browns Animal Hospital for many years! She helped others dutifully doing missionary work and cherished her family! She had many nicknames but, was known to all as “Mother” by family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband the late (Robert Earl Evans) She leaves to cherish her precious memories two devoted daughters: Eve Mae (Revered)James Pressley and Tosia Denise (William) Brown both of Lake City, SC; five brothers: Deacon Joe Louis (Evg. Patricia Ann)Singletary, Mr.Lerome (Priscilla) Singletary, Mr. Joshua Singletary all of Lake City, SC, Mr. James Edwin Singletary of Rockhill, SC and Mr. Hesikah “Randy”(Sylvia Ann) Singletary of Salters, SC; one uncle: Willie Dee Singletary of Miami, FL; eighteen grandchildren: Curtrick, Curkroy, Briana, Shannon, Jermaine, Jamal, Alexandria, Jakiyah, Aalana, Jovon, Aaliyah and many more; three great-grandchildren: Jamir, Ja’kaden and one expecting; a host of lovely nieces and nephews, her beautiful daycare babies, her very special families The” Brown-Parker” Family, a parade of loving relatives and friends.
