Mose R. Mann

Mose R. Mann was a man who loved GOD. He was born May 5, 1941 to Chanie Mann and Clyde Mann in Pantego, NC. He grew up taking care of the family farm and graduated from Eastern District High School in Brooklyn, NY. After High School, Mose joined the United States Air Force where he became a Tuskegee Airmen. Mose protected his country during the J.F.K Era and graduated from the U.S. Air Force with Honors. After graduation, Mose returned to Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from College while working as a Draftsman. He met his soulmate, Shirley McCoy of Lake City, SC in 1965, and they have been soulmates ever since. Mose became a father and as time passed, he became a Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Great-Great-Grandfather. Mose retired as a Mechanical Engineer and spent as much time with his family as possible. Mose had many good qualities. One of them being, he was a family man who taught and instilled so many values into all the generations after him. What sticks out the most at this time is his teachings on the true meaning of family and family values. No one is perfect, to us, there is no one closer. A devoted, loyal, and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather and friend, Mose R. Mann was definitely one of a kind. Mose leaves behind to mourn his passing but celebrates his life here on Earth his wife, Shirley McCoy Mann of Lake City, SC. One son, James McCoy of Lake City, SC, Four grandchildren, Tiffany McCoy of Brooklyn, NY, Shay-VAn (Aaron) McCoy of Brooklyn, NY, Hope McCoy of Brooklyn, NY, Keith McCoy of Brooklyn, NY. Seven great-grandchildren, Mathew McCoy, Angelina McCoy, Shay-Van McCoy Jr., Gary Madision Jr., Jaleek McCoy, Tyleek McCoy all of Brooklyn, NY and Lamar Suber Jr. of Queens, NY. two great-great-grandchildren, Demani (Shack) McCoy and Milan McCoy of Brooklyn, NY. One sister, (Elder) Geraldine Brown of Pantego, NC, and tons of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and a special friend Mary Davis Brown.
Mose joins his daughter, Pamela McCoy of Lake City, SC, and granddaughter, Sky-K McCoy of Brooklyn, NY.
