Michael L. Montgomery

Mr. Michael Leroy Montgomery was born July 9, 1966, in Florence County. He departed this early life on ThThursday, August 5, 2021at his residence. Michael was officially known as Baby Doll. Michael received his former education at Lake City High School of Lake City, South Carolina, where he also graduated from in 1985. He was employed with the Hannah Pamplico Town Ceramics. He was involved in all types of ceramics, earthen ware, stone ware, and porcelain and a gardener. Baby Doll was a Jack of all trades. During his earthy life. He was known as a “Jack of All Trades” Michael (Baby Doll) worked wherever he was needed. Very, very early in life he accepted Jesus Christ as his lord and savior. He loved the Lord. He was a professional in everything he did. He was a loving, kind, tenderhearted, and a compassionate person. Michael loved his mother, sister, brothers, and his other family members with a passion. He was a God-fearing man who made everyone who he came in contact with laugh. One of his favorite words was “I ain’t saying nothing!” He kept a smile on his face at all times.

He was proceeded in death by his father: Mr. Archie Leroy Montgomery; four aunts: Lizzie Joan Montgomery, Unice Barr, Bessie McCutchen, Senior Sinclair Eaddy.

Michael leaves to cherish his loving memories his mother: Mrs. Alar Montgomery Kennedy (Russell Graham); one sister: Priscilla Montgomery; five brothers: Gregory Kennedy (Percellia Johnson), Leveren (Lillie Ann) Kennedy, Fredrick (Shirley) Kennedy, Anthony (Kiesha) Kennedy, Leverer x-wife Bree, and Eric (Janie Mae), all of Lake City, SC; eight aunts: Annie Pearl McGill, Inel Montgomery, Mary McGill, and Betty Rose all of Lake City, SC, Sinclair McCutcheon of Connecticut, Joan McGill of New Jersey, Annie Montgomery of New Jersey; one uncle Rev. James McGill of New Jersey; two very special cousins: Deacon Chester and Rev. Magalene ThThompson who helps his mother and reared him as a son; a very special niece: Tyesha Montgomery; two special other nieces: Randeshia, and Alexis Kennedy; a host of nieces, nephews, family and other relatives and friends.
