Levern "Billy" Fulmore

Mr. Levern “Billy” Fulmore, son of Gus and Celia Graham-Fulmore, was born June 23, 1941, in Florence County. He departed this life on February 5, 2022 at his residence.

“Billy” joined Mt. Beulah United Methodist Church at an early age. He was educated in the public schools of Florence County. After leaving school he moved to Englewood, New Jersey.

“Billy” was employed by Norway Knitting Mills until his retirement. He was also co-owner of L & N Cleaning Service in Teaneck, New Jersey. Upon retiring “Billy” moved back to Lake City, South Carolina.

While living in Englewood, “Billy” met and married his former wife, Dorothy Elizabeth Williams. To this union three children were born.

“Billy” was preceded in death by his parents, Gus Fulmore & Celia Fulmore, a brother, Carvin Fulmore, a nephew, Ferdinand Maurice Fulmore, and a sister-in-law, Mary Fulmore.

Those left to cherish his memory are: three children: Nicole Michele Fulmore and Kimberly Monique Fulmore of West New York, NJ, and Samantha Marie Fulmore of Kissimmee, FL.; three grandchildren: Xavier A. Fulmore, Zakariah H. Fulmore, Skylah A. Fulmore; five sisters: Mrs. Mary Ellen (Willie) Collier of West Haven, CT, Mrs. Lola Mayes of Hamden CT, Mrs. Ester (Clarence) Montgomery of Hillside, NJ, Mrs. Hattie Benson of Hamden, CT, and Mrs. Patricia B. (Ernest) Fulmore of Lake City, SC; two brothers: Sylvester Fulmore and Archie (Loris) Fulmore of Lake City, SC; Goddaughter: Latoya Fulmore of New Jersey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
