Jonathan Powell

Mr. Jonathan Powell of Scranton, SC entered his eternal rest on November 28, 2021 after an illness. He was born on November 25, 1955 of Florence County to the late Pearl Phillips and grandmother: Viola Davis and grandfather: Joe Davis. He walked a long journey and in the end he came to peace with himself and God.

Mr. Jonathan Powell leaves to cherish his memories his sister: Helen (James) Gamble; daughter: Tangie Smith Houston; son: Andre (Latoya) Smith; six grandchildren: Jareea (Shakeith) Singletary, Christian, Jeremiah, Breona, Jaheim, Journee, three great- grandchildren: Ja’Kiria, Ja’Niyah, Shy’Keira; one special nephew: Jonathan Gamble, two very special nieces: Jennifer (Jason) McKenzie and Sabrina Gamble; five great nieces: Trayonna, Tybriaja, Kayla, Ranejah, Semaj; one great nephew: Jason Jr., a special friend of five years: Bernice Burgess, and a host of cousins and friends he loved dearly.
