Johnnie P. Peters was born on June 28, 1951, to the late Johnny and Estell Cameron Singletary in Florence County. Johnnie attended the Public School System of Florence County. She went to Cameron Town School, she also attended Carver High School.
Johnnie accepted Christ in her life at an early age. She was a member of East Lake City Believers Holiness Church throughout her younger age.
Johnnie P. Peters served thirty-one years in the United States Army throughout her career; she was promoted Sergeant.
Johnnie P. Peters relocated to Martinsville, Virginia where she joined Agape Bible Christian Fellowship. She served faithfully and served auxiliaries in the church. Johnnie P. Peters enjoyed serving her community. She opened a Food Bank and was part of several outreach programs in her community.
Johnnnie P. Peters was married to the late Howard Fuller, she leaves her loving daughter Dewretha Ward of Lake City, SC; four grandchildren in which one was preceded her in death: Shawon Will Michael, Katrina Ross Singletary, Mandy Singletary all of Lake City, SC, Johnnie Ward of Virginia, and the late Shawon Singletary; four preceded her in death along with siblings: Walter Leon Singletary, Shirley Gamble, Willie Singletary, and Robert Cameron; siblings to cherish her memories, James Bostick of New York, Rev. John Henry of Lake City, SC, Terry (Jawanya) Singletary of Lake City, SC, Glenda Singletary of Lake City, SC, Evangelist Joyce Roger, Evangelist Sandra Singletary of Lake City, SC; son-in-law: Michael Ward, a close friend: Ralph Singletary, and a host of uncles, four aunts, nephews, nieces and friends.
