Jessie J. Anderson

Mr. Jessie James Anderson was born to the late Frank Anderson and Ethel Knight Anderson on October 15, 1945, in Cades, SC.

On December 5, 2021, he transitioned into eternal sleep at home.

He received his formal education in the public schools of Williamsburg County. He was employed with Coker Tire and CB Askins of Lake City, SC until his health declined. His favorite hobby was collecting old coins, stamps, and trading cards. Jessie was a member of Mt. Clair Missionary Baptist Church of Lake City, SC.

He leaves to cherish his memories a loving wife: Covetta McKnight Anderson; four children: TaMekia Anderson Barr of Florence, SC, Chasity Anderson of Lake City, SC, Tyree (Towanda) Anderson of Florence, SC and Al John McKnight of Lake City, SC; two brothers: albert (Barbara) Anderson of Lake City, SC, Frank (Billie Ann) Anderson of Louisville, KY; two sisters: Lorine (Adam) Bostick of Dundalk, MD and Mrs. Patrica (Robert) Cooper; two sisters-in-law: Doris Anderson and Lisa McKnight; two brothers-in-law: Alfonso (Melissa) McKnight and Vincent McKnight; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved him dearly.
