Jamison D. Johnson

Mr. Jamison Johnson was the loving son born to Clementine Marshall and Norman Johnson on May 10, 1991 in Florence, SC. He departed this life on Tuesday, June 1, 2021.

Jamison was a 2009 graduate of Camden High School, where he was an active participant in the school football program. He attended Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC. After leaving Conway, Jamison took advantage of employment opportunities in Miami, FL. After departing Miami, Jamison returned to his hometown of Lake City, SC to be with his family. At the time of death, Jamison was residing in Atlanta, GA, where he was employed at Inalfa Roofing Systems.

Jamison became a Christian at an early age. He began his spiritual training as a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Camden, SC. He served on the Youth Choir. Jamison was a loving, dedicated father, son, and brother. He was loved and will be remembered by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Clementine Marshall, grandmother, Pauline F. Drakeford, and grandfather, James Johnson.

Jamison leaves to cherish his memories, his father, Norman Johnson, of Lake City, SC; his son, Jayden Johnson, of Lake City, SC; his brothers, Terrence Johnson of New York, Javon Johnson of Atlanta, GA, and Demetri Johnson of Fayetteville, NC; his grandmother, Annie Mea Johnson of Lake City, SC; aunts, Mittie (Russell) Legette, Aretha (Jerry) Hart, and LaShawn Johnson, all of Lake City, SC, Minnie Futrell of Raleigh, NC, Paulette (Gabriel) Scott of Woodbridge, NJ, Arlene Drakeford Crisco of Rock Hill, SC; his uncles, James (Monica) Herd and Savalos (Nicole) Johnson, both of Lake City, SC, Willis Jean (Marilyn) Futrell of Ahoskie, NC, and Frank Raymond (Zena) Marshall of Rock Hill, SC; great-aunt, Judy (Luther) Anderson of Lake City, SC; great-uncles Willie (Perceluia) Hurd and Frankie (Willa Faye) Bryant of Lake City, SC; and a host of cousins and very special friends.
