Jake Singletary

Mr. Jake “Bubba Dick” Singletary a son of the late James Singletary and Christine McMillan Singletary. Was born in Florence County on February 4, 1950. He departed this life on June 19th, 2022, at McLeod Hospital.

He attended the public schools in Lake City, South Carolina.

“Bubba Dick” was a loving son, father, and brother. He was proceeded in death by his father James Singletary, his mother Christine McMillan Singletary, four siblings: Ruth Gamble, James Singletary, David Singletary and Joseph Singletary; wife: Dorothy Singletary. Along with three nieces and one nephew, and a daughter Carlinda McFadden.

Left to cherish his precious memories: one daughter: Reatha (Travis) Singletary Williams of Scranton, SC; one brother: Mr. William (Lutricia) Singletary of Lake City, SC; two sisters: Mrs. Annie (Glenn) Matthews of Coward, SC and Ms. Rosa (lee) McKenzie of Lake City, SC; four grandchildren: Marcus Singletary, Ttitana (Antoine) Singletary, Knowlin, Litishia Miller and LaQuincy Singletary; four great-grandchildren, a special friend Leroy Gist and a host of nieces and nephews other relatives and friends.
