Etta Margaret McFadden, daughter of the late Geneva Green, raised by the late Emma and George Hunter. She was preceded in death by her husband John McFadden, daughter Thomasena McFadden and a grandson Nathaniel McFadden.
At an early age, she joined Lake Point United Methodist Church, where she was faithful member.
She was married to the John McFadden in 1939 until his passing in 1995.
She served as a sharecropper and housekeeper until she retired.
On, Tuesday, August 16, 2022, Etta Margaret McFadden left this old world to be with the Lord at McLeod Hospice House of Florence, SC.
Soon happy times, sad times, laughter and the joy of being Mrs. Margaret will be remembered by; six sons: Roosevelt (Janice) McFadden of Pompano Beach, FL, Nathaniel McFadden of Cades, SC, Murel (Deloris) McFadden of Cades, SC, Johnny (Lisa) McFadden of Lake City, SC and Earl (Janie) McFadden of Lake City, SC and Jimmy (Delores) McFadden of Columbia, SC; two daughters: Patsy Pearson of Lake City, SC and Barbara (Gerald) Adams of Kingstree, SC; three special grandchildren of the home Nicole Scriven of Florence, SC, Rodrick Pearson, and Keshia Hannah; three special great-grandchildren: Ta’chiand McFadden of Lake City, SC, Marquise McFadden of Rockhill, SC and Lasena Scriven of Lake City, SC; one sister-in-law: Mattie McFadden of Lake City, SC; over forty-four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
