Eric Keels

Eric Keels, affectionally known as ‘Nat’, was born July 26, 1982, to the late Johnny Keels and Phyllis Keels of Lake City, South Carolina. He transitioned and departed this life on February 22, 2022.
Eric attended the public schools of Lake City High, Lake City, South Carolina. Emulating the legacy of his late great grandfather, he was a volunteer Firefighter for the Florence County Fire Department. Eric was also a committed employee at the Palmetto Synthetic Company.

Eric was found to be an extremely supportive son, brother, uncle and took great pride in upholding his family members. He leaves to cherish his memory; Phyllis Keels (mother), Rachelle Keels (sister), Lafayette Adams (brother). Also, cherishing his memory are his niece and nephews, Seyven Adams, Justin Ray and Michael Jones. Eric’s life will be celebrated and remembered by Evelyn Birdie Joe (grandmother), Charlene Foster (Aunt), Sheila Rock (Aunt), Troy Rock (Uncle), Sharon Witherspoon (Aunt), Jennifer Keels (Aunt), Steven Keels (Uncle) and a host of cousins, community friends, classmates, and co-workers.
He was preceded in death by his loving brother (Demetrius Keels), his paternal grandparents (John & Mary Jane Keels) as well as several other aunts & uncles (Keels
