Ella Mae Johnson

Ella Mae Johnson, the daughter of the late Eugene and Annie Ruth Cooper, was born April 11, 1942 in Florence County.

She received her formal education in the public schools of Florence county. At an early age, Ella received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Debra Kay Singletary and five brothers, Eugene Cooper, Jr., Frank Cooper, Larry Charles Cooper, Demmery Cooper, And T.C. Bostick. Those left to cherish her memory are: three sons, James Singletary, William Singletary of Florence, SC and Shawn (Dee) Singletary of NC; special friend, Sammy Davis of Florence, SC; four sisters, Betty Cooper of Lake City, Carolyn (John) Singletary, Mildred Cooper all of Lake City, SC, Shirley Spates and Ollie Mae (Roosevelt) Singletary of Florence, SC; two aunts, Carrie Hutchins and Gerline Jones of Florida; one grandchild, Madison Singletary; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
