Edward Nelson

Edward Nelson Jr., 67 of Georgia moved to Lake City, South Carolina in 1989 where he lived a wonderful fulfilled life before taking his eternal rest on June 16, 2020.

Edward was born August 15, 1952, to Edward Nelson Sr. and Minnie Lee Bozeman of Augusta, Georgia. Edward attended Hephzibah High School. Edward had many talents. He was employed at the House of Raeford for many years. He was also employed at Palmetto Paving for many years. Edward was a hard-working man. Edward worked many years on Mr. Buck’s farm, even when Mr. Buck wanted something done, he knew Edward was the one to call.

Edward is preceded in death by his mother and father, his daughter, Angela Nelson, his son, Tyrone Nelson and his brother, Floyd Nelson.

Edward leaves to perish his memories, two sons, Herbert L. Nelson and Johnathan Nelson, one daughter, Faith White all of Lake City, South Carolina; one sister, Louise (George) Williams, one brother, Leroy (Janiette) Bozeman; one grandchild that he considered his own, Stephanie (Dominique) Nelson-Walter; a host of many other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, two step-daughters, whom he raised as his own, Ashley White and Shamika Jones; two special brothers, James Cooper and Joe McClary; and many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
