Donald Toney, affectionally known as “Donnie” peacefully transitioned to his eternal home on Wednesday, May 25, 2022. Donnie was born on October 6, 1956 to Mildred Montgomery & Donald Rogers. He attended Lake City High School. After High School, he enlisted in the Marines for a short period of time.
Donnie was a true comedian. He kept us all laughing about one thing or the other. His favorite thing to do was to watch Western and Cowboys TV shows. Donnie will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and friend.
Donnie leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Mildred Montgomery; his father, Donald (Berneice) Rogers; six brothers, Michael (Sherion) Toney, Christopher Toney, Carnell (Chiquita) Montgomery, Preston Rogers, Donn Rogers and David Needham; six sisters, Sheila Toney, Michae (Thomas) McKenzie, Gloria (Alvin) Montgomery, Debra Mann, Wanda Fay (James) Brown, Jr., Leslie (Michael) Irving; two Aunts, Claudette Dallas and Juliet McClam; uncle, James Pringle; special nieces, Dana McKenzie, Jessica King- Ziegler, Whitney McKenzie, Khristian Fleming, and Jordan Fenn; nephews, Keith Edwards, Jr., Darren McClam & Terrence Greene; special friends, Diane Gamble, Eddie S. Leford and a host full of great nephews, family and friends.
Donald “Donnie” Toney is predeceased by brothers, Marshall Montgomery & Levern Montgomery; grandmothers: Sister Mary Skipper and Thelma Pringle.
