Denesha Lynette Epps, daughter of the late Tyrone Hickson and Karen Evans was born on January 2, 1986. She departed this earthy life on August 29, 2021 at McLeod Hospice in Florence, South Carolina.
Dee, as she was affectionately called, graduated from Lake City High School in 2004. Dee was formally employed by Walmart in Myrtle Beach, SC and Huddle House in Lake City, SC until her health declined. Dee was a member of Pine grove Freewill Baptist Church where she accepted Christ at an early age. Denesha was united in holy matrimony to Thurman Epps, the love of her life.
Denesha was preceded in death by her father: the late Tyrone Hickson; grandparents: Rev. Albert and Georgianna Epps; and uncle: Ricky Epps.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband: Thurman Epps of the home; a loving devoted mother: Karen (Stepfather: Clinton Lavern) Evans; three sisters: Whitney Epps, Kera Epps and Tykeia Hickson all of Lake City, SC; two brothers: Laquinton Elmore and Tyrie Brown; Jamal (Crystal) Epps that was raised in the home as a brother all of Lake City, SC; one niece Kasey Epps; a special God brother: Hendrix Gaskins and God-daughters: Kamora, Patience, Jahzara, Ayida and Raelynn; eight aunts: evangelist Roberta (Augusta) Bradley of Cades, SC, Carrie (Joseph) Gamble of Sumter, SC, Ruthie (William) Pressley of Lake City, SC, Fosie Epps of Lake City, SC, Linda (Russell) Rose of Lake City, SC, Joette (Calvin) Darden of Kingstree, SC, Laura (Steve) Locket of Tuberville, SC; six uncles: Minister Albert (Donnia Jean) Epps of Florence, SC, Roger (Ella) Epps of Lake City, SC, John (Jannie) Epps of Lake City, SC, Ronnie (Linda) Epps of Lake City, SC, Jerome (Patrice) Evans of Tuberville, SC, Warren Evans of Florence, SC; Step- grandparents: Clinton (Lois Ann) Evans of Turbeville, SC; her mother-in-law: Brenda (Jerome) Hanna of Scranton, SC; three grand uncles, three grand aunts and a host of relatives and friends.
