Curtis Burgess

Mr. Curtis Burgess son of the late Shirley Abraham Burgess. Born December 25, 1960. He was preceded in death by his mother and father. One brother Abraham Burgess Jr. and grandmother Elavina Burgess. Curtis entered internal rest on January 31, 2022 at MUSC of Lake City, SC.

Curtis was a farmer employee of Carter Manufacturing Company. He loved his job. He was a hard-working person.

Curtis attended Cades Hebron School. He leaves to cherish his loving memories a special friend Robert Jones (known to Curtis as Rev.), two daughters Grace Williams of Lake City, SC and Mary Spates of Myrtle Beach, SC, four sisters Shirley Burgess of Winston-Salem, Delores (Duane Melton) of Niles Michigan, Katie (Leroy Williams) of Conway, SC, Sharon Burgess of Lake City, SC, two brothers Kenneth (Donna Burgess) of Summerville, SC, James (Augatha Burgess) of North Dakota, grandchildren Jah’hanya Manigault, Amaranah Manigault, Myasia Manigault Cameron Matthews, Te’Quasla Burgess, Shanyah Burgess, and Keimonte Spates, and a host of niecs and nephews.
