Mr. Brannon La’Coise Rose was born on November 6, 1981 in Florence County SC to Mary Ann Rose and William Graham. He graduated from Lake City High School in the year 2000. After high school, Brannon was employed with Pee Dee CAA Head Start of Lake City SC as a custodian for 15 years. Afterwards, he became a Patient Transport Driver for First Choice and Adam Link.
Affectionately known as “Big B” or “Coach B” in the community, he was loved and respected as a great leader for many of the youth whom he had the opportunity to coach and mentor. He worked with various nonprofit sports organizations such as United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) Baseball League, Lake City Parks & Recreations, and many other youth advancement activities.
Brannon is survived by his two children; Bravion Rose and Journey Rose of the home; Mother, Mary Ann Rose of the home; Father, William (Maragret) Graham of Lake City, SC; Mother, Betty “Kitty” Gamble who reared him as her own, of Lake City, SC; Grandfather Albert J. Rose of Lake City, SC; one brother, Arlen (Lakeita) Rose of Arlington, VA; three bonus brothers, Adrian Nero, Twan Nero of Scranton, SC, and Jermaine (Mekia) Burgess of Columbia SC; two sisters, Latoya Hanna of Lake City, SC; and Tiffaney Nero of Orangeburg, SC; four aunts, Joan (Jessie) Monroe, Minister Kathleen (Randy) Gamble, Jana Graham of Lake City, SC, and Michele Rose of Simpsonville, SC; two great-aunts, Christine Scott and Pearlese Hanna of Lake City, SC. Three uncles, Erskine (Deloris) Nero of Rochester, NY, Charles Rose of Charlotte, NC, and Lonnie (Krystal) Lilly of Norfolk, VA.11 nephews, 9 nieces, and a host of other family and friends whom he loved dearly.
