Alfred Burroughs

Mr. Alfred “Junior” Burroughs son of Courtney Burroughs, Sr. and the late Annie Lee Burroughs was born July 15, 1957 in Florence County.

He was a 1976 graduate of Lake City High School.

At the time of his passing, he was employed as a mechanic with Concrete Supply.

Alfred “Junior” was humble, patient, always had a smile and encouraging words for everyone he met, would ask everyone how their family was doing and called everyone “Lil Brother”. Although he had been a mechanic for most of his life, he loved fishing and working in the yard.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his brother: Gregory Burroughs.

He leaves behind his wife of 27 years, Donna Burroughs of the home. Father Courtney Burroughs, Sr., a daughter, Logan Burroughs and two sons, Adam Burroughs and Lenardo Cooper all of Lake City, SC. One sister, Vanessa Singletary of Lake City, SC. Three brothers, Courtney Burroughs, Jr. of Lake City, Sc, Glenn Burroughs of New Jersey and Charles Burroughs of North Carolina, one sister-in-law, Celia Burroughs of North Carolina, one brother-in-law, Ronald Gregg of Lake City, SC, mother-in-law, Dorothy Gregg of Lake City, SC, a special aunt, Sarah Hall of Lake City, SC and a host of relatives and friends.
